What is School of Ministry?
The School of Ministry at New Life Church is a two-year program designed to equip and empower those who are called to lead their homes, communities, cities, churches, and the world toward becoming fully devoted followers of Christ.
We wholeheartedly believe the strongest leadership training is within the local church, where future leaders are best challenged, encouraged, and readied for ministry. Our approach to training and empowering the next generation of leaders is key to our church’s long-term vision of expanding across the state. These are the people who will carry on the mission of New Life Church.
The School of Ministry will focus on growing your biblical understanding, leadership abilities, and ministry experience.
How Does The School of Ministry Develop Leaders?
Bible
Each semester, students will be enrolled in one college-level Bible course. These courses are taught via hybrid of in-person and online instruction depending on what semester the student is in and their home campus.
Leadership
All students enrolled in SOM attend monthly, DNA Nights. These are in-person leadership and culture teachings taught by various staff members of New Life Church
Coaching
All students have the opportunity to learn from New Life Church's team by being paired with a staff member as their ministry coach. Ministry coaches help students reach the goals they have set for their personal ministries.
